Data processed

Depending on how you use the site, the following categories may be involved:

• contact details and content that you voluntarily send by email or telephone
• technical data needed for browsing and security, such as IP address, browser, requested page and request time
• aggregate visit data produced by Plausible without cookies
• technical data sent to Google only if you choose to load a YouTube video

Purposes

Messages are used to answer your request, prepare a possible quote and follow up the conversation. Technical data is used to deliver and secure the site. Aggregate statistics help us understand which pages are visited and improve the site.

Legal bases

When a request concerns a project or quote, processing is necessary for the pre-contractual steps requested by the person. Other enquiries, site security and audience measurement rely on AssistLux’s legitimate interests in responding, protecting the service and understanding its use. Loading a YouTube video relies on your consent, given after receiving the information and choosing the button provided. Closing the player stops the embed on the page, but does not undo processing already carried out by Google.

Retention periods

Contact exchanges are kept for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless a legal obligation or contractual relationship requires longer retention. Technical logs are kept by the providers concerned according to operational, security and incident-handling needs. Plausible produces aggregate statistics; the IP addresses and browser information used to create a daily identifier are not retained in raw form by Plausible.

Recipients and technical services

Data is accessible to AssistLux and, where needed, technical providers acting to process it. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., email uses Google, and audience measurement uses Plausible Analytics. If you load a video, your browser connects to Google’s YouTube service. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. The safeguards and transfer arrangements described by these providers are available in their data protection information.
